My comments were about the people who wrote the software, not those that just use it. It's the PyMusique programmers that may face legal troubles, while those who merely use the software may or may not face consequences (I suspect that the worse for them might be termination of their iTunes account, in which case they won't have to worry any longer about iTunes DRM).
Thanks for clearing that up, but I still don't undertsand why the creator(s) of PhMusique sohuld face legal charges. What have they done illegaly?

Dress your best you know a suit with a 'Steve is my homeboy' shirt underneath. Bring up lots of technical terms like RAM and CPU maybe even a pinch of MMORPG... actually better leave that one out.
Good luck to you, I wish we had more than resellers here. I'd like to give retail a try sometime, but we don't have any real apple stores or Lotus Car dealerships. ;)

I recently downloaded and installed the F@H client onto my PowerBook G4, but now find that the software just makes the fans go like the clappers so have stopped running ot. Is there a way to transfer the allocated work unit onto my iMac G5 and queue it directly behind the WU the iMac is currently working on?
The WU doesn't have to be completed until the 28th April so there's plenty of time for the iMac to do both.

Read about the $100 laptop project from MIT. Apparently Bill Gates doesn't like it. www.laptop.org is the website.
Good idea in fact. Too bad those don't run mac os x...
Bill hates it because he things the new Origami priced at $500 is perfect for developing contries. umm... bill..... Developing contries cant afford to spend $500 on a computer nor do they always have a place to plug it in and charge.

noise issue they have with OSX?
Also:

click or tick when moving windows around or
scrolling windows and also moving the cursor
over links on a web page? i had my stereo
connected to my mac and i heard the click/tick
through my stereo speakers...it even happened
when turned mute on.

All correct. Make note, though, the desktop Hammer, which is supposed to be called the 8th generation Athlon, is obviously as stated, 8th generation.

Still down and in about 8 hours my PM is going to have another WU done and if I can't give it back to Berkeley I'm gonna be angry. If the server isn't up in the next 48hours or so I'm gonna get rid of Seti and start folding.

And now its back up.

30'' would suck... the resolution just wouldnt be there. Just for example: Samsung makes a 30'' LCD TV that can be used as a computer monitor, but its max resolution is 1024x768. A 30'' with good resolution would cost a frickin fortune... 10 thousand or more

hmm to me it says "A9 toolbar released for Mozilla Firefox" not camino :P
well I tried it out, it definately is a bit bulky, but not my cup of tea since the search box on firefox does the job well
Who (other than you) said that it said anything about being available for Camino?

A bunch of ********* kids I'm guessing. "Oh, lets steal the $400 Xbox instead of the $1500 TV or the laptop." What is this world coming to??
Back when I was about 8, we were jacked. However it was our house and the house next to us. We lost all of our console GAMES, the system still there. The other house lost their console SYSTEM, the games still there. Its nice to know that the world has not changed 10 years later.

if ur using illustrator 5.5 then u are certinaly not a professional the design industry.
What are you talking about? I can't believe anybody would even say that. Plus you're being a hypocrite, you're defining who is a "professional" based on what version of software someone uses, when you're using "words" like, "ur" and "u". Real professional
Give me a break.

This keeps rearing it's ugly head and I just don't believe it.
I really cannot see Apple moving from Buy Your Own Music to Rent Your Music. What they do now works. Where's the incentive to change it? Particularly since they just renegotiated with their music partners to keep the $.99 thing going.
I cannot speak for movies/tv shows however. I don't think I'd care for the Rent model for TV shows as it's pretty rare that I'd want to spend $20 a month to watch something I might have missed. Plus, would $20 even cover the overhead for bandwidth and server maintenance, not to mention royalties for unlimited viewing?

What I for one hold against Real is what it did to my OS 8 and OS 9 systems. Taking over filetypes that ALREADY were usable--like wavs and even text files!--and then trying to open them, making them LESS usable than before. In fact, it took over filetypes it could NOT open, making those files temporarily useless. And trying to reverse the whole mess was a huge labor.
Now, OS X apparently does not allow Real to perform such nonsense. But I just saw what Real did to a friend's OS 9 machine last week, and am reminded yet again of how I was burned.

I dont believe that that will be an apple product.
Unlike the new powermac pics that some guy released and got flamed for, this has no background, no aqua interface, is very blurry, a icon that looks nothing like apple's apple icon, and most importantly, it really doesnt look like a product apple would design.
"to every truth there is a lie and to every lie there is truth"
I think apple is making a PDA/tablet/cell phone type thing, but this is in my eyes definatly not it.
